how much larger must a steering wheel cover be than the wheel to ensure it fits?
i got a car accessory set for Christmas but I don't think the steering wheel cover will fit my steering wheel. Sitting in the sun all day made the sides more open-able so it could fit on the wheel but my friend and I couldn't stretch it to make it fit over the whole thing. How can I tell if we just need more force or if it's incompatible?
Those covers should be very snug, like putting on a bicycle tire- if you've ever done that. They have to be tight so they don't slip around on the steering wheel.
