I am doing a western show and need to develop an accent. I am a saloon girl. I need movies that are western!!!
I've had to use a southern accent millions of times. You know, I didn't get much help from movies, but what did help, is when I read my script, I pictured the words, 'I' 'my' 'you' and 'hey' as 'Ah' 'mah' 'yew' and 'haay.' Now I am told that I have a PERFECT southern accent by people from anywhere from high school theatre to Broadway. Good luck with your play! Sounds fun!
