Any Comic Book Fans Out There?
I've been wanting to find some decent comics, but most of the time all they have is crap published or no redundant comics. It's not the 80's anymore so you can't really walk into a store and find something that grabs your attention. I was hoping that some comic book fan could help me out and list some really great underground comics.
I like Dark Horse, some of DC, some of Marvel, Image, some Boneyard Press stuff, but I'd really like some comic that's inspiring.
Got any ideas?

lots of good stuff to be had in Batman's titles lately, but so many to pick from... Batman Inc looks promising

R. Crumb's Illustrated Book of Genesis is worth the read for sure
Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? (last bronze age superman)
Marvel's The Twelve had promise, but isnt finished after long hiatus
Project Superpowers is what Alex Ross is working on, which is pretty good imo
