Out of the four major North American sports leagues MLB,NFL,NHL,NBA which is the most likely to throw a game?
MLB. pitchers can just go out there and do terrible and just blame it on a bad start. NFL could make a case to, QBs purposly doing terrible, but then it hurts their rep more than pitchers, and will cost their job faster if they arent the incumbent.
NHL and NBA are more likely to point shaving. which is when one team is beating the other and they purposely throw a bad pass in basketball, or in hockey purposly miss their guy so they can score. say the celtics are favored over the warriors by 5. and the better chooses the warriors to beat the spread. and the celtics are up by 6. pierce would say purposely throw a bad pass, so troy murphy can drain a 3 and say the game is over so the warriors lose by 4, and beat the spread so the guy who bet, won the payoff
