Around how much would a road trip around the united states coast?
We're planning on going to 29 states around the us not in the center (north and east and south). between 3 people, so about how much ?? thanks
More details would be helpful, but lets say for kicks that you're starting in Portland, Maine and winding your way through the east coast and into, say, Austin, Texas (that was the quickest way I could count up 29 states). That's roughly 2000 miles for a straight shot and roughly 2500 if you're going to be sightseeing. Gas prices are averaging around $2.65/gallon so say you're going to scrunch into a Honda Civic that gets about 35 miles to the gallon. 2500 miles/35 miles per gallon = 72 gallons of gas @ $2.65/gallon = $190.80 divided by three people = $63.60 per person one way. That was a whole lot of imagination and a little bit of fact.
