would i have to call a additional bank if the cue ball hit .......?
would i have to call a additional bank if the cue ball hit the cushion at the same exact moment that the cue ball sliced the ball into the pocket after i had already called only one bank? my objective pool ball was sitting down beside the corner pocket against the rail and had only one shot , and that was to call bank corner. my friend was arguing with me about the fact that i should of called two banks, but i thought that because the cue ball pretty well hit the ball and the cushion at the same exact time that why should it be called two banks? i assumed that it weas only one bank after i had shot the previous bank.
Under BCA rules, just call your ball and pocket, period. It doesn't matter if you contact 1 cushion, 6 cushions, no cushions, off another ball, etc. As long as the shot is legal, anything goes, just call ball and pocket. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
