Bedroom painting help! Would textured burgundy be good?
My bedroom walls and ceiling are white the closet goes from wall to wall his and hers with about 8inces of wall in between, closet has mirrored sliding doors trimed in gold. I have gold lighting fixtures on the wall on both sides of bed, ceiling fan has gold accents. My bedroom set is burgundy lacqured with mahogany and gold accents. THE PROBLEM....Beige carpet, I don't want to take up the carpet its still new and plush. I was thinking a throw rug of WHAT COLOR? I hate the white walls........WHAT COLOR do I paint them? and what additional wall decor could I put up to ad to the scheme. Open for suggestions........
another suggestion might be a light metallic gold on the walls - will not upset the gold fittings and will still work in witht he beige, while highlighting your bedroom set...
