If I took photos of buildings and sold them as art, could the architect sue?
We have some beautiful architecture in my town and I've often thought if I got some photos of buildings from various angles and made them into a grouping it would make great art for a wall. I'm curious if I sold something like that would it infringe on any kind of copyright or patent laws?
You will not be sued unless you made a claim that you designed or took some part of the design of the building.
