how is marijuana a leaf? what do they do?
im curious. how is marijuana a leaf.. but when you actually smoke it it looks nothing like a leaf. like what do they do to it? i might be not so clear with my question right now.. excuse me =)

Marijuana is made from the flowering buds of the plant, not the leaves. After the marijuana flowers into buds, the marijuana is harvested. The leaves are cut off and thrown away or composted, leaving only the high-potency buds. The buds are covered by little things called glandular trichomes, which are rich in the psychoactive ingredient THC. After the buds are trimmed, they are hung to dry. Once dry, that is marijuana. Hash is a collection of all those little glandular trichomes, with little or no plant material included. Hash can be made a number of ways, but the most popular way these days is with bubble bags, which uses ice and water to separate the glandular trichomes from the rest of the material.
