A Wall Mounted Garment Rail in the UK A Heavenly Present?
Nowadays when people always seem to be rushing everywhere, there isn't always the time to keep everything tidy. What could I mean by this?
Well, in your house, have you ever noticed how clutter seems to build up without you even trying? Look in the bedroom for example. Probably because that room isn't seen by too many people, it's all too easy for it to become the messiest room in the house. I well remember my mother shouting at me from time to time, like every day, "Your bedroom's a pigsty".
Like most things in life there can be easy solutions to problems. But if you were a young boy, you mostly saw your bedroom as a dumping ground. It never seemed too important to actually think about tidying up.
Now of course, as an adult, I know precisely what I should have done to make my pigsty into a normal bedroom where innocents wouldn't fear to tread, What I would do is install a wall mounted garment rail. Not too exciting I know, but I've just placed one of these in my own son's bedroom and it works a treat.
I used a 6 foot wall mounted garment rail for his room. They come in varying sizes but this was best for him. As I knew how to handle an electric drill and screwdriver, I installed it myself. Naturally, it took me a little longer than anticipated but I find as I get older that most DIY jobs do too.
I'm pleased to say that my son's chrome wall mounted garment rail gets maximum usage. Heavens' above, he even places his garments on hangers which is virtually unheard of beforehand. Then he even hooks the hangers onto the new clothes rail himself! This is a considerable breakthrough in our family. Before this he tended to look upon a coat hanger as being a potential weapon!
Having said that, it's only fair to point out that his this new regime of being tidy may be more to do with the fact that he's just managed to get himself his first girlfriend!
