my dog has started peeing again?
My dog is 5 and started peeing again,we were homeless (put in terrible council hostels) which were disgusting,with junkies,rats etc,all because I would not part with my dog and found a loop hole in the law that I could keep him with me,,it was hell but worth it we have a nice home now with a garden ,he was house trained when I purchased him,which was great but since moving here he does a pee in the hall way when I'm here,he does not even ask me to go out,he's done 2 already today,do you think he's marking the place ? or could he be so confused with all the moves ?I'm cleaning up alot of the time someone told me to spray where he does his p with white wine vinegar as dogs hate the smell,but I don't want to smell like a fish & chip shop,any ideas anyone ?
You will have to retrain him. He is not used to having a certain spot to eliminate again. If he is a small dog I suggest using pee pads as a just in case until he is trained to go outside again. Other wise you can by what is called a pee post...its a yellow stake that u put in one part of your yard where you want him to go. I bought one @ pet smart and it worked well for my boy.
