Atheists: If you walked into a billards hall and saw the 8 ball moving, would you assume someone hit it?
Why is the universe any different?
I would. Or I would assume that something hit it. And so would you because it's the most likely explanation.
Or do you wander around assuming god is responsible for every transfer of kinetic energy you didn't directly witness? You must really have to stay focused at baseball games in order to avoid becoming overcome with the holy spirit.
In order for your argument to make sense you would need to use an example of something commonplace yet miraculous. But there is (dare I say) nothing on earth that we haven't at least partly figured out. Gravity is still pretty murky. But christians don't call gravity a miracle because figuring it out is unlikely to threaten their beliefs.
But if it stated somewhere in the bible that objects were not attracted to one another in proportion to their mass the people known as creationists would start denying that we're all stuck to this planet.
Gravity's only a theory, you know. It's never been proven.
