Why is it deemed that the English Cross of St George flag represents racism?
St George was a Turk who lived in Palestine who fought bravely for Richard III. Surely then the Cross of St George represents multi culturism which is representative in England today so why the hell shouldn't we officially celebrate St. Georges day?
Ethnic minorities are not stopping English people from celebrating St Georges day - the PC lobby are. They are not one in the same.
The reason that the St George's flag is deemed as racist is due to its overuse by right wing fascists.
Have you seen how many people (of all races) are prepared to put out the St Georges flag when the football is on?
If the British government listens to the concerns of its citizens, it would make St Georges day a bank holiday. Having an extra day off would ensure that everybody remembered it.
