whats the best music soft ware to make electronic music?
so im starting a band and my dream its to inspired people by music and im really into all the electronic sounds but the thing is that i dont know waht music soft ware to use? it will be relly nice if any body can help me. =))
I assume you have amplifiers, speakers and a mixer. Synthesizers and samplers are a big part of modern electronic music and also in some older styles. I would use a keyboard that plays samples and has a synthesizer built in other wise go with a synth that acts as a keyboard controller and get a couple modules that sample.
You use Vsti instruments to make the samples and put the wav files into the samplers...
Next you will need a sequencer of some type, many keyboards have this built into it or you go the computer route which just makes your experience more complex. Computer based performances often have glitches which can ruin a show. You would need the computer to edit sequences, samples and to design synth sounds. Using one in live performances can be awesome! You would need software .Vsti instruments range in cost from cheap to several hundred dollars each.

Rob papen
Ableton Live
Cubase
and many others...
Keeping your onstage gear at a minimum is a great idea. Who really wants to see someone standing there with just a laptop? (well i would like to see Kraftwork do this)
Use a keyboard and play along with prerecorded bits!
