I'm only on page 62 but I'm already hooked.I can't explain why I have to keep reading it, or why I'm so terribly interested in this story, but I have questions.
Do I need to read The Girl who Played with Fire to understand this book?
Is Stieg Larsson dead?I heard somewhere he had died, but I'm not quite sure.
Is there a third book written by this same author?Does it relate to the girl with the dragon tattoo?

1. The Girl Who Played With Fire is the sequel to Dragon Tattoo, so no, you don't need to read to understand Dragon Tattoo, but I think you'll probably want to. You'll learn a lot more about Lisbeth Salander in the next two books.
2. Yes, Stieg Larsson is dead.
3. Yes, there's a third book, and yes, it relates to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played With Fire. It continues directly on from the ending of The Girl Who Played With Fire and it's called The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest.
